“Science, spiritualism, history, and romance intertwine in Suzanne Weyn’snewest novel. Four sisters and theirmother make their way from a spiritualist town in New York to London, becoming acquainted with journalist W. T. Stead, scientist Nikola Tesla, and industrialist John Jacob Astor. When they all find themselves on the Titanic, one of Tesla’s inventions dooms them…and one could save them.”
“Fourteen kids. One superstore. A million things that go wrong.
In Emmy Laybourne’s action-packed debut novel, six high school kids (some popular, some not), two eighth graders (one a tech genius), and six little kids trapped together in a chain superstore build a refuge for themselves inside. While outside, a series of escalating disasters, beginning with a monster hailstorm and ending with a chemical weapons spill, seems to be tearing the world—as they know it—apart.”
Happy Easter Everybody!

Distant Waves looks like a fun book to have read this month with all the Titanic stories in the news. That combined with Monument 14 is a lot of disaster for one week of reading!
