I started Miss Remmers’ Review during summer vacation in 2009. It was inspired by an Educational Technology class I took as a junior in college. The class was mainly focused on integrating technology into the classroom.
I currently teach English 10 and 12 in Bismarck, ND. I am earning my masters in Library Media Information and Technology; I plan on graduating in December 2013.
As for Miss Remmers Review – who knew I’d still be doing this years later. I generally receive anywhere between 15,000 to 20,000 hits a month and more than 1,300 subscribers.

This is a nice way to get to know our fellow bloggers! Great idea.
I'm going to friend you on twitter–I'm ConstanceReader.
Your mom's a librarian? No wonder you ended up changing your major and going into education!
Marine Biology at SD State-While I stink at science-I would think they have an incredible program-did you ever visit the Scripps Aquarium-it is one of my favorites. My first part time job was a clerk at the library-I would shelve the books. I learnt about the Dewey Decimel system as my mum was librarian and school teacher.
Looks great! Very professional, but still down-to-earth!
Very nice bio — warm and friendly, but professional!
Welcome to the wonderful world of teaching. I am a firm believer of recreational reading in my classroom too. Sometimes it is a difficult task to get my 8th graders to read on a regular basis, but I have a long-standing independent reading program in place that has helped. Very glad I found your blog
